Payroll Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist to join our HR & Finance team. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, compliance with local laws and company policies, and providing payroll-related support to employees and management.
This role requires a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- 
Process end-to-end payroll for employees in accordance with company policies, employment laws, and country-specific regulations. 
- 
Validate timekeeping data, attendance records, and employee information before payroll runs. 
- 
Prepare, review, and distribute pay statements and reports with accuracy and timeliness. 
- 
Manage payroll adjustments including bonuses, deductions, overtime, and benefits. 
- 
Ensure compliance with tax laws, social security, and other statutory reporting requirements. 
- 
Partner with HR, Finance, and Compliance teams to reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies. 
- 
Handle payroll queries from employees with professionalism, ensuring excellent internal customer service. 
- 
Assist in audits, month-end close, and reporting of payroll-related metrics. 
- 
Continuously review payroll processes to identify and recommend improvements. 
Qualifications & Requirements
- 
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (preferred). 
- 
2–4 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a large multinational or BPO environment. 
- 
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and labor laws. 
- 
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar). 
- 
Advanced Excel and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. 
- 
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. 
- 
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data. 
- 
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
